Viv&Lou Certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

To recognize its’ ownership by a female CEO, Viv&Lou were certified as a Woman Owned Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

(Myrtle Beach, SC) Viv&Lou and its’ parent company, Wholesale Boutique, is proud to announce its’ national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity, and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.

Viv&Lou was named to this prestigious national council because of the efforts put forth by its’ female Owner/CEO, Denise Thigpen, who has built the company from the ground up. The South Carolina based company and Inc. 5000 award recipient has experienced a growth of 230% since 2013. They have upgraded their facilities to a spacious 68,000 square foot facility in Myrtle Beach and a 3,000 square foot showroom in AmericasMart Atlanta.

Denise Thigpen, Female Owner/CEO of Viv&Lou states that “Owning a business is a never ending process of small steps, if you don’t take the next step you will stay exactly where you are. A successful business doesn’t just happen; you have to make it happen.”
